Just wanted to share a quick update.
On day 13 of getting my 1st COVID vaccine, I developed an allergic reaction on my arm. At first it looked like hives then my arm got hot and SUPER itchy!
*if you watch the video I have pictures of my arm!
I called the doctor and was seen immediately! I was given steroids and was told to wait and hold off on getting my 2nd dose.
After a few days on the steroids the rash went away!
I also got a call maybe a week later that I was cleared to get the 2nd dose. I was told that a deadly allergic reaction would happen within 4 hours of getting the shot.
I was told to get it on the other arm and to know that it was very possible to have another reaction and to just be alert and aware.
I get my second shot this Friday and I am so nervous!
XO,
