We don’t have Moderna here in the UK but I’m pretty concerned about the Astra-Zeneca jab here. We now have a 3 months wait for the 2nd jab rather than 21 days. But a bad reaction to a vaccine is something else. I can see why you’re concerned. I’d be nervous in your shoes too. I hope it’s the same over there that you’re made to wait for 20 minutes after the vaccination just in case anything were to happen as a serious allergic reaction, so that there are people there to help. It sounds like that’s the main window for a bad reaction. After that it’s 24 hours for feeling extra lousy. I won’t say ‘of course you’ll be okay’ because that’s not realistic when nobody knows, and when chronically ill we know quite well already that bodies can f*ck us over in weird ways! I just really hope it all goes as smoothly and safely as possible. Sending hugs. Let us know how you get on?!
