I am very curious about this and everyone’s thoughts! I mean who doesn’t love staying home when they are sick?!!? I also honestly have been and was rocking my sloth pj pants. Of course the Doc couldn’t see that, but I did rush to put earrings on so I at least looked somewhat put together! ( My mom will be so proud when she reads this!! )

I think during this time and being a high risk person these calls are wonderful and I thankful we have them but of course as my life would have it I have a story about my very first time!

On my first call with my urologist, I had to set up and wait in a virtual waiting room almost two hours after my time, I honestly thought they had forgotten about me but I a was ok with not waiting in a room! They called me and said he was jumping on and that was great, we spoke about how I was feeling and what my options were going forward with the antibiotic I was on. We came up with the game plan for the next few months while this COVID-19 was a thing in our community. He expressed his fear with changing anything right now and have me land back in the hospital. He asked how I felt about this and my thoughts and then… SOMEONE ELSE WAS ON THE CALL!!!!

Another client of his somehow someway found his way on the call. My first thought was HIPPA but then it was holy cow that is a man I do not know in his dinning room! The look on the doctors face was so funny, I wish I could have screen shot it, ( I wonder if they would get some kind of notification ?!?!) He did not say the other man’s name, he just said something along the lines of ” Hey man get off, or I’ll call you in a second. His initials still stayed on my screen and I was wondering if he could hear but not see?! The rest of the appointment consisted of you look great, call me if anything changes and BYE!!!

I was so mind blown by this! Has anyone else had this happen!?!? I also want to know what are your thoughts on Telehealth calls!
