29 Things to do Before my 30’s- update

This was my list of 29 things to do before I turned 30! Looking back at my goals, I think I did pretty dang well last year, giving all the hardships we faced with COVID-19 and the lockdowns.

** This is all depending on COVID **

  1. Be healthy – well healthier I managed to do this, sort of . I did stay out of the hospital for 6 months!!
  2. Have a plan to see sloths! I am dying to spend my 30th in Costa Rica with sloths!! ( I decided to wait until I get my LCSW and turn 32, more to celebrate and we should have a better handle on COVID)
  3. 5 Zumba classes- I used to go to so many classes and even teach and I miss it! But with my daughter, it changes how often I can go to a gym, so I am trying to add a few classes in! I did them all on Zoom!
  4. Yoga routine – a few years back I did 3 classes a week and even taught 2 classes a week- I miss this more than just about anything I did. I want to get back to this!! I did a month program that got me back in my grove! My daughter loves her mat too!
  5. Read more books—even if its TWILIGHT!! I am very proud about this one! I have read several books, all about autism and sensory processing disorders, but hey, it is still reading.
  6. Do a 5k- This has been a goal for a while!! I want to do a 5k in under 50-45 min!! I DID THIS UNDER 40 min!! 38 min to exact!!!
  7. Travel- JAX, ATL, St. Augustine I went to JAX for my bday!
  8. Sew more – I did not do very much of this 😦
  9. Visit my BFF – she lives in a State Park in GA – COVID put a damper on this
  10. Try not to worry about things I have no control over!– still a work in progress lol
  11. De-clutter- I am a pack-rat and just need to learn to get rid of SOME stuff! I got rid of a lot! I just now have to get it out of the garage lol baby steps!
  12. Take more pictures – more like be in more pictures!
  13. Grow my succulents I am so proud of my garden!
  14. Stay off my phone and be present—manage my social media time
  15. Save more $$
  16. Stick to workouts—need to start lol still need to start !
  17. Walking/ jogging- I have been doing this and want this to be the minimum I do!
  18. Build up social media
  19. Understand my PCOS/ hormonesI started OVISTOL
  20. Get to and stay at the weight goal!!
  21. Quality time with daughter and family
  22. Mommy and daughter dance class
  23. Keep music and dance at home—I am all about dancing and singing and I want my daughter to be the same way- music is very special to us my daughter loves to dance! anytime she hears music she dances and I love this so much!
  24. Be okay being alone and learn to do things alone
  25. Keep up the bilingual home—plus work on my Spanish!!
  26. Be better about keeping up friends and family
  27. Send more cards
  28. Go to a zoo
  29. Be more comfortable being ME!- I am getting there. I have been rocking more two-piece bathing suits this year than I have more whole life!

,I am very proud of where I am in my life. I really do believe my 30s will be the best years of my life. I have some what of a better understanding of my health, I have a beautiful daughter, and my career is the best it has been with my LCSW licensure process.
